ADRIANA CHAVEZ

Adriana (Adri) Chavez is a versatile dancer born in Ecuador and currently working as a professional dancer in Toronto, Canada. With more than five years of dance teaching experience, she has taught in Ecuador, Colombia, USA, and Canada. As a performer, she was a 2022 CFL dancer for the Toronto Argonauts Football Team. She also works for various local entertainment companies such as Cotton Candy, BollyHeelsTO, Kylie Thompson Creative, Gloss entertainment and others. With these companies, she has performed as a dancer in events such as the "WEIRD AL YAKOVIC STORY" WORLD PREMIERE at TIFF (Toronto Film Festival), a backup dancer for Devorah Cox, and 8 EML LAUNCH EVENT with actor Simu Liu. She has also performed with international Artist Ryan Castro in his concert in Toronto. She has danced in music videos for local Canadian Artists such as KATRINA, ROMAN KING, and NATASHA HESCHELLE. 

Adri started at the age of 12 with ballroom dance, becoming the Ecuadorian Latin Champion and Pan-American Runner-up. She graduated with a Minor in Performing Arts, specializing in Modern Dance, from San Francisco de Quito University. During college, she also did an exchange program at Boston University where she trained in Jazz, Contemporary and Impro. After graduating, she explored urban and commercial styles such as Heels, Jazz Funk and Hip Hop in Los Angeles, New York and Toronto. Her Latin roots, combined with her international study of various techniques, allowed her to develop a feminine style that is dynamic and strong.
