SHAKEIL ROLLOCK

Shakeil Rollock is a highly motivated and passionate performer whose love for dance extends beyond the studio. Currently accepted to the school of Toronto Dance Theatre, he is thrilled to delve into studying contemporary and graham technique. This driven young dancer might be new to the game, but is quick to learn and even quicker to share what he knows. Shakeil started training in urban styles such as hip-hop, house and reggae/dancehall, but later extended his knowledge in dance to styles such as ballet, contemporary, jazz, and even latin ballroom. Having a year at York University under his belt he was accepted and finished training at the School of Toronto Dance Theatre’s summer intensives well as taking unlimited dance classes of various styles at City Dance Corps. He is now attending the school of Toronto Dance Theatre to further his training in modern and contemporary dance and plans to continue back at York in the following years. Also, this young dancer is joined Dance Addictions pre-professional urban dance company that works towards training dancers for work within the commercial industry. He is more than honoured to have worked with amazing choreographers such as Draico (Step Up Franchise), LIneen Doung, Denone Isaacs, Darryl Tracy, Julia Sasso, and Rosemary James, Shakeil is known for his determination, organization and enthusiastic attitudes while in and out of the studio, which has allowed him to receive many opportunities, which he is truly grateful for.
