SARAH BUTTERWORTH

Sarah attended Ryerson University’s theatre dance program where she achieved her BFA. She is a qualified Tap and Jazz teacher under A.D.A.P.T., and is an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance. 

Sarah has been a highly-motivated performer, choreographer, and teacher with over twenty-five years training in many disciplines. She is passionate about expanding her knowledge in the world of theatre and dance. For the past 10 years, she has taught for the Travelling Stage to further arts education in the school system. She is the co-founder of Canada’s first and only Agency for Dance Educators: Quick Ball Change Inc. and the Founder of 10 Talent Management, Canada’s newest Talent Agency.

Theatrical credits include: Beauty and the Beast, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Singing in the Rain, All Shook Up, Anything Goes, Pirate’s of Penzance, Chicago, Wizard of Oz, Snow White, Footloose, Damn Yankees, Legally Blonde, Twist and Shout, White Christmas, Mary Poppins (Canadian Première), Big Band Legends, Annie, 9-5: The Musical, Peter Pan, Dance Legends (Drayton) Beauty and the Beast (Theatre Aquarius), Joseph…Dreamcoat (Stage West Calgary), Aida, Nixon in China (Canadian Opera Company) Legends (The Grand), and Cats (Stirling Theatre Festival). TV and film credits include: Bomb Girls, Silent Hill II, Lady GAGA MMVA’s 2011 and Being Erica. Sarah has also worked for Royal Caribbean cruise lines and performed at fFIDA, Toronto’s dance festival.
