Known for her quirky personality and intuitive movement, Mackenzie Carlson 
takes Toronto and world stages by storm. Right out of highschool, this Calgary 
native started her traveling adventures when she moved her life to Vancouver to further her dance career and where she starting dancing with The Source Dance Company. In Vancouver, Mackenzie worked with many different choreographers in a variety of different styles such as Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, HipHop, Modern, Bollywood, Musical Theatre and Partnering whilst performing in such shows as iYi, The Life of Grace, Reporting Live and film work and performances with artists such as JDAY, Tyrell Witherspoon and Jeff Dimitriou. After training and working in Vancouver for two years, Mackenzie moved to Toronto to become a student at Eryn Waltman’s Conteur Academy. She held the position of apprentice in the 2013-14 season performing in Conteur company’s full length show Re(Act). Mackenzie has been seen on many Toronto stages including performances for Frames, Fill in The Blanks, RiaToss’s Marina Antoinette and more. With the addition of working with an International touring company, Mackenzie's passion for performance, dance and travel has been met by venturing the world in the production of The Jungle Book Circus. Thanks to Creativiva this production has taken her to places such as The Middle East, China and Singapore on three separate 
tours. Recently Mackenzie has been working closely with Christina Digiuseppe on multiple shows and projects including “Mizpah”, “Revolt” and “La Femme Kabarett”.

Mackenzie has also had the pleasure of working with Cirque Du Soleil, Release Dance Project, Transcendance Dance Project and Jessie Reyez music video “I Do”.

Mackenzie is never sure where her career will take her next however she finds comfort knowing that she will always find home on a stage or in a studio.
