JUSTINE SANKER
Justine Sanker was born and raised in Brampton, Ontario. She began dancing competitively when she was 4 years old. She specialized in styles including ballet, tap, hip-hop, jazz, and acro. Along with dance, she also trained in gymnastics to gain tumbling skills.
Justine traveled within Canada and the United States, training with many well-known choreographers.
She began performing in live shows starting with the Toronto Raptors Dance Pak. She went on to perform at the International Indian Film Academy Awards, Blake Mcgrath’s I Am Tour, and travelled to the middle east to perform at the GCC ceremonies for Cirque Éloize. In Justine’s professional career, she’s had the opportunity to work with choreographers and creative directors such as Tanisha Scott, Draico Johnson, and Jamal Sims.
Justine recently also found a passion for acting. She was a featured dancer and actor in television shows such as, The Next Step, Utopia Falls, Cruel Intentions, and The Handmaid’s Tale. Justine’s premiere in film was in 2013’s Make Your Move. She continued to appear in films such as Disney's Zombies 3, Spin, and Netflix's Work it and has recently worked as an assistant choreographer on The Boys television series.
Justine has her Bachelor of Fine Arts, from Toronto Metropolitan University. With her experience and knowledge, Justine is known to be a positive and passionate educator, making sure the space is always supportive for all dancers. Justine immerses herself in different cultures and continues to use her experiences in her work.
