JULIA MCLELLAN

Julia McLellan is a Canadian singer, actor, and dancer who has performed on stages across North America.  

She recently returned home to Canada after performing on Broadway in the Tony award winning production of Kinky Boots the Musical, to star in the North American premier of Mythic: The Musical. 

Previously, she played Val Clark in The Stratford Festival's critically acclaimed A Chorus Line, for which she won the Broadway World Toronto award for Best Female in a Featured Role. She was also a member of the Tony and Dora Award winning hit Kinky Boots The Musical, travelling across North America on the 1st National Tour, as well as for Mirvish Productions in Toronto. Other Mirvish credits include the North American Premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Wizard of Oz which had a sit down run in Toronto, as well as a U.S. 1st National tour where Julia alternated the role of Dorothy Gale. 

Selected other credits include The Hypochondriac (at Stratford), Katherine Plummer in Newsies, Annabelle Glick in Lucky Stiff, Ariel Moore in Footloose, (all for Drayton Entertainment) and Maureen Johnson in RENT (at the CAA Theatre in Toronto). 

Julia is a proud graduate of Sheridan College’s prestigious Music Theatre Performance Program.
