CLARA EATON

Clara has worked in the entertainment industry as a dancer, teacher and choreographer for over 18 years. She began her training in Brantford, Ontario under the direction of Nancy English-Van Dyk where she trained in Contemporary, Modern, Acrobatics, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Vocal and Aerial. Clara is a proud graduate of Ryerson University’s Performance Dance Program, receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA). Her favourite performance credits include: “WHAT’S LOVE?” Gold Medalist Solo Performance (Mikolajki World Dance Week), THE BIG JINGLE (Much Music Canada), “TRIBE” PANAMANIA choreographed by Debra Brown (Pan American Games), and The 1994 Hubbard Street Chicago remount of HEROES, choreographed by James Kudelka (National Ballet of Canada). Clara continues to spread her love for dance through several different drop-in classes at Toronto’s Underground Dance Centre, Dance Masters of America conventions and master classes all over North America to students of all ages. Most recently, she has been performing as a featured dancer and aerialist for ROYAL CARIBBEAN INTERNATIONAL in their new Aqua show HIRO and has performed in over 34 countries including Japan, China, Vietnam, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, United States and Canada. Clara is excited to share her love and passion for dance and continue to grow as a dancer, teacher, choreographer and adjudicator this season!
